In this peaceful and green setting, and only at 3 km from Nevers city center, this family run hotel is waiting for you, and the the Rosier family is ready to welcome you and make Its privilege position and its facilities will be a delight for nature lovers and those looking for a relaxing break.
You will be able to take a walk in the parc surrounding the Hotel and enjoy its occupants (squirrels and white rabbits) as well as enjoy the private swimming pool and tennis court.
La Folie is also the ideal starting point if you want to visit the city of the Dukes of Nevers with its ancient surroundings walls, the historical monuments, the convent oof St Gildard where you can see Saint Bernadette at rest for everybody to see, in her glass coffin, as well as the known ceramic art of Nevers.
There is also another side of the place to see and discover. The wine making area of Sancerre and Pouilly, and the famous racing track of Magny/Cours, and the area of Morvan with its lakes, arts and typical products.

For a welcome rest, 37 comfortables rooms with bath or shower, toilets, telephone and TV with French channels, plus 3 satelite channels.
There are also 2 bedrooms being built for handicapped people with direct access from their reserved parking place straight to their room.

Children under 2 will have a cot put at their disposition upon reservation and without extra large.

There are special prices for groups and ull and half board upon request.

The hotel is closed on Fridays and Saturdays from October to February.

And for greater independence, an apartment 'la case' which is asmall suite with one bedroom, one sitting room, kitchen and its own little covered terrace.

Price for this will be given upon request and will depend on the number of persons and the lenght of the stay.

The Hotel reception will be open to welcome you 24H a day and a large private parking which can be used as an heliport is at your disposal.

RESTAURANT

From your business lunches, candle light dinners, weddings family gatherings, life music danse and dinner.......

2 restaurant rooms can be set up according to size, depending on the amount of people ranging from 40 to 140.

For a charming breakfast filled in with bird songs, to sheltered lunches and romantic evenings.... A large and flowered terrace can greet up to 50 people.

With a 'a la carte menu', a buffet for starters, a menu for the specialities of the area, and another one for children, the restaurant can cater for groups, weddings or any family gatherings.

Our specialities / snails of Bourgogne in their shell with garlic sauce, our calf head cooked in sauce ravigote, or again veal......, without counting our filet steak with morilles.

Special prices for groups or family gatherings will be given upon request.

The restaurant is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday, except in June, July and August, when we close only on Friday lunch.
